Bitcoin and Faith
What if households of faith held Bitcoin in their treasuries?
I am a Christian. Taking it a step forward, I am a disciple of Jesus. I say this not in a politically correct way. I say this in a way that means my life is fully submitted to the things of the Lord Jesus Christ. Strange to see this in a “crypto” or Bitcoin-focused output online, right? Well, being politically correct was never my thing because politics can change. At one point, it was legal to own people. At one point, it was legal to penalize people for working in crypto and sue them. All I’m saying is politics change, so why should I be politically correct when it comes to my devotion to Christ?
Speaking of Bitcoin and faith, I published a book called “Bitcoin and Faith” to onboard churches into being future-proofed. It’s difficult to do good when the mechanism of being able to do good, specifically money, is becoming more and more devalued. $1M donated to a church has the buying power of roughly $800K. We are one black swan event away from not just debasement but complete devaluing. While corporate treasuries are beginning to hold alternative assets such as Bitcoin and even Ethereum, churches seem to be stuck in the stone age. Part of it is churches are unaware. Part of it is churches do not seem to break rank from things that work. Givelify works. Text to give works. Why would a church add something seemingly complex to a system that seems to “work”? Even if something works on the frontend, it doesn’t mean that it truly works on the backend; full-stack devs will understand what I mean by that. If the systems that churches use to accept donations are based on the US dollar being stable or the American monetary policy being top tier, how will churches move if that ever shifts? Will that ever shift? God has moved on my heart concerning this, and out of many things that I feel impressed on my heart, I feel as though I am to help make the Church overall have the opportunity to be “ready” for when a shift takes place.
Value is changing form, and the most opportune time to seize something is when it’s in transition; it’s the most vulnerable and most risky time. With that said, as the world experiences hyperbitcoinization, which is an inflection point where Bitcoin will become the default value system of the world and the world becomes more open to digital assets being integrated into every aspect of humanity, people who wish to do good in the world may find themselves feeling like the ugly duckling. I heard a pastor friend of mine say, “You have to plant seed before you’re hungry.” This means that you can’t look for a harvest in times of crisis when you did not plant it during times of plenty. While the clock begins to wind down on the US dollar, we have to look at ways of preserving value. This is the biggest value proposition for churches regarding Bitcoin because Bitcoin is value preservation technology. Averaging 100% per year and absolutely demolishing the S&P 500, real estate, gold, and other assets, Bitcoin is the premier output for storing value. Even during downtimes, nothing roars back like Bitcoin. In the event of a global black swan event, people who can acquire and hold Bitcoin will be able to future-proof and grow value. It may be hard to quantify this as markets are enjoying all-time highs, but what goes up will go down; the opposite is true as well in the context of Bitcoin. With that said, I invite you to grab this short read.
It’s awesome to see “Bitcoin and Faith” rank in the top 50 today in two categories. I’m grateful because all of my books were published independently. Due to being an indie author, I can do cool things with my product offerings. So, here’s the scoop:
I. My first Bitcoin book, “The Secrets of Satoshi: Understanding Bitcoin,” became a 4x best seller on Amazon, in paperback and Kindle! The impact is truly felt as an indie author, so for people who are interested in helping me rank as an author, please purchase, review, and share the “Bitcoin and Faith” Amazon link with all you may know who would be interested in the intersection of Bitcoin and faith! (Click here).
II. While Amazon has been good to me, the royalties, similar to the music industry, take MONTHS to reach authors. If you wish to support “Bitcoin and Faith” in a more direct way, I got a cool deal for you. You can acquire all SIX of my Bitcoin books for only $21, and the manuscripts are emailed directly to you instantly. This allows for you to get every Bitcoin book I’ve written (thus far) and to support me in a more direct way.
Click here for instant access to all of my Bitcoin ebooks for only $21. It’s a great deal!
III. Bitcoin is always an accepted payment method. Click here for Lightning payments, or click here for on-chain Bitcoin payments. Be sure to email contact@twentyonesociety.com if you use this payment method so I can make sure you get your six ebooks. :-)
In closing, things are shifting for me. I am leaving the “marketplace” as of this summer to serve the body of Christ concerning matters of future-proofing. Trusting God with the details and thankful for every new adventure that is ahead of me. Grateful. 🙏🏾
